Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Two Studies Of A Barefoot Girl Holding A Basket by Albertus Brondgeest for EUR 938.00. This price was achieved in the auction The I.Q. van Regteren Altena Collection Part II. Dutch and Flemish Drawings from 1500-1900 at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Albertus Brondgeest have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An artist sketching by a gate in May 2015 with an auction result of EUR 9,375.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Two Studies Of A Barefoot Girl Holding A Basket von Albertus Brondgeest für EUR 938,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The I.Q. van Regteren Altena Collection Part II. Dutch and Flemish Drawings from 1500-1900 bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albertus Brondgeest auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An artist sketching by a gate im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.375,00.
