Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Angeli in volo by Alberto Salietti was auctioned at Il Ponte in May 2017, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alberto Salietti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work San Francesco in April 2015 with an auction result of EUR 9,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Angeli in volo von Alberto Salietti im Mai 2017 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 2.000,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alberto Salietti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit San Francesco im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.500,00.
