Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Marina by Alberto Pisa was auctioned at Il Ponte in November 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 850.00 – 900.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alberto Pisa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Fish Stall, which sold at auction in May 2014 for GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,765.32).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Marina von Alberto Pisa im November 2020 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 850,00 – 900,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 800,00 den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Alberto Pisa mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Fish Stall beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.765,32) versteigert wurde.
