In June last year Il Ponte held the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo, which included the work Monte Rosa by Alberto Falchetti. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 800.00 60% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alberto Falchetti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paese Sotto La Neve in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 3,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo durch, in der auch die Arbeit Monte Rosa von Alberto Falchetti zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 800,00 und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alberto Falchetti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paese Sotto La Neve im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.750,00.
