Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sunlight breaking through the clouds over a coast by Albert Wang was sold in the Paintings and furniture (postponed) auction at Bruun Rasmussen in February this year. Here, the upper estimate of DKK 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for DKK 4,200.00 (€ 564.12). Admittedly, works by Albert Wang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Abendstimmung an der dänischen Küste in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 5,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sunlight breaking through the clouds over a coast von Albert Wang wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Paintings and furniture (postponed) bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von DKK 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für DKK 4.200,00 (€ 564,12) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Wang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Abendstimmung an der dänischen Küste im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.250,00.
