Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

In April 2015 Artcurial held the auction Sailing, which included the work Le Bateau Phare by Albert Sebille. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 910.00. Admittedly, works by Albert Sebille have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Normandie, at Midnight on the Atlantic in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 8,400.00 (€ 6,213.02).

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Im April 2015 führte Artcurial die Auktion Sailing durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Bateau Phare von Albert Sebille zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 910,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Sebille auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Normandie, at Midnight on the Atlantic im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.400,00 (€ 6.213,02).
