In the Maritime including Scientific & Medical Instruments auction, the work The Albany changed hands for USD 1,680.00 (€ 1,265.63) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Albert Nemethy have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in February 2006 by the work A fishing schooner off a rocky coast at USD 1,920.00 (€ 1,610.06).
