Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Russian Art, which included the work A Bronze Group Of A Mounted Cossack And His Sweetheart by Albert Moritz Wolf. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,219.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Albert Moritz Wolf have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2006 the work Cossack Lovers On Horseback was auctioned for GBP 6,900.00 (€ 9,984.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Bronze Group Of A Mounted Cossack And His Sweetheart von Albert Moritz Wolf zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.219,04) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Albert Moritz Wolf konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2006 die Arbeit Cossack Lovers On Horseback für GBP 6.900,00 (€ 9.984,18) versteigert.
