This work without title by Albert Mertz was sold in the Modern art and design auction at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year. The auction ended at the price of DKK 8,000.00 (€ 1,071.92), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of DKK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Albert Mertz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red and blue composition in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 9,500.00 (€ 8,302.74).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Albert Mertz wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 8.000,00 (€ 1.071,92) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Mertz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red and blue composition im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 9.500,00 (€ 8.302,74).
