Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2001 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work A man on horseback stopping to greet two ladies; and A wave farewell by Albert Ludovici, Jnr.. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 646.25 (€ 1,043.42). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Ludovici, Jnr. achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Musical Party in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 15,600.00 (€ 23,152.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A man on horseback stopping to greet two ladies; and A wave farewell von Albert Ludovici, Jnr. zur Versteigerung kam.
