It achieved a price of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,728.86), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 46%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Pénot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frenchla Femme Chauve-Souris in February 2018 with an auction result of GBP 137,500.00 (€ 155,325.12).

Die Arbeit The Feathered Headband von Albert Pénot kam im Januar 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.728,86) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Pénot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Frenchla Femme Chauve-Souris im Februar 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.500,00 (€ 155.325,12).
