The »bidding war« ended at AUD 8,225.00 (€ 4,961.74), 37% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Henry Fullwood - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sirius Cove, which sold at auction in April 2003 for AUD 29,375.00 (€ 14,979.34).
