Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Matterhorn by Albert Gos was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,605.78) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Gos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Printemps et hiver à Naye., which sold at auction in June 2013 for CHF 9,600.00 (€ 7,808.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Matterhorn von Albert Gos kam im September 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.605,78) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Albert Gos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Printemps et hiver à Naye. beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für CHF 9.600,00 (€ 7.808,39) versteigert wurde.
