Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Contemplation by Albert Guillaume was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2016. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,971.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Guillaume - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Café De Paris, which sold at auction in October 2020 for USD 32,760.00 (€ 28,127.41).
