Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Two soldiers resting in a rocky landscape by Albert Christoph Dies was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 756.00 (€ 674.28). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Christoph Dies - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work „Tempio del Sole“., which sold at auction in December 2008 for EUR 2,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Two soldiers resting in a rocky landscape von Albert Christoph Dies kam im Januar letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 756,00 (€ 674,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Albert Christoph Dies mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit „Tempio del Sole“. beobachtet, die im Dezember 2008 für EUR 2.250,00 versteigert wurde.
