Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Modell" (Model) by Albert Abbe was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 20,000.00 (€ 2,325.98). Admittedly, works by Albert Abbe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Gaselljägare" (Gazelle Hunter) in October 2012 with an auction result of SEK 140,000.00 (€ 16,281.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Modell" (Model) von Albert Abbe im Oktober 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 20.000,00 (€ 2.325,98) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Abbe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Gaselljägare" (Gazelle Hunter) im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 140.000,00 (€ 16.281,83).
