Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ground Plan - 1975 by Alan Green was sold in the 20th Century Art 1950 to present auction at Artcurial in Paris in March 2019. The price achieved of EUR 7,150.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alan Green have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Four Vertical Reds in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 52,874.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ground Plan - 1975 von Alan Green wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion 20th Century Art 1950 to present bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 7.150,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alan Green auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Four Vertical Reds im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 52.874,53).
