The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,188.22) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alan Green achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Four Vertical Reds in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 52,874.53).

Die Arbeit Drawing No. 244 von Alan Green kam im Juli 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.188,22) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alan Green erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Four Vertical Reds im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 52.874,53).
