Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Yerler I (Places I) by Ahmet Elhan was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2012. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,797.81). Admittedly, works by Ahmet Elhan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Eski Camii III (Old mosque III) in October 2011 with an auction result of USD 80,500.00 (€ 57,718.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Yerler I (Places I) von Ahmet Elhan kam im April 2012 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.797,81) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ahmet Elhan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Eski Camii III (Old mosque III) im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 80.500,00 (€ 57.718,51).
