Auction result well in line with expectations

The work The Virgin Annunciate by Agostino Masucci was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2009. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,183.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Agostino Masucci - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of Francisco Pescatori Baroni Mastigoli Y Pasqual (1721-1791), Third Marquis Of San Andrès De Parma, Full-Length, Wearing The Spanish Order Of Saint James Of The Sword, Behind Him A View Of Rome With Castel Sant'Angelo And The Basilica Of St Pete, which sold at auction in July 2011 for GBP 34,850.00 (€ 39,995

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.183,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden.
