Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Teatro Del Segno Contaminazione by Agostino Ferrari was sold in the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction at Sothebys in Milan in May 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 5,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Agostino Ferrari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Interno Esterno in November 2014 with an auction result of EUR 31,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Teatro Del Segno Contaminazione von Agostino Ferrari wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 5.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Agostino Ferrari auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Interno Esterno im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 31.250,00.
