Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 687.50 (€ 722.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aernout Ter Himpel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Two Fishermen, Seen From The Rear, In A Landscape, which sold at auction in December 2014 for GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,931.00).
