A top price for Adrien Hébert
In December 2009 Sothebys in Toronto held the auction Important Canadian Art, which included the work Place Jacques Cartier by Adrien Hébert. The »bidding war« ended at CAD 20,400.00 (€ 13,606.17), 36% above the upper estimate. With this result, Place Jacques Cartier is even the most expensive work of art by Adrien Hébert that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Dezember 2009 führte Sothebys in Toronto die Auktion Important Canadian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Place Jacques Cartier von Adrien Hébert zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von CAD 20.400,00 (€ 13.606,17) und damit 36% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Place Jacques Cartier sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Adrien Hébert, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
