Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Figures on a Sunlit Street by Adrianus Eversen was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,340.00 (€ 13,298.50) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adrianus Eversen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Straatje te Edam: Townsfolk in a sunlit street in April 2001 with an auction result of NLG 257,000.00 (€ 117,958.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Figures on a Sunlit Street von Adrianus Eversen kam im Juli 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 11.340,00 (€ 13.298,50) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adrianus Eversen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Straatje te Edam: Townsfolk in a sunlit street im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 257.000,00 (€ 117.958,19).
