Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Roses, poppies, peonies, tulips and syringa with a caterpillar and a moth in a vase with classical reliefs, peaches and grapes on a copper ewer and grapes and a seashell on a partially draped marble ledge by Adriana Johanna Haanen was sold in the Old Masters and 19th Century Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2012. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 51,400.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adriana Johanna Haanen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Julÿ rozen, which sold at auction in April 2003 for EUR 147,950.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Roses, poppies, peonies, tulips and syringa with a caterpillar and a moth in a vase with classical reliefs, peaches and grapes on a copper ewer and grapes and a seashell on a partially draped marble ledge von Adriana Johanna Haanen wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 51.400,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Adriana Johanna Haanen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Julÿ rozen beobachtet, die im April 2003 für EUR 147.950,00 versteigert wurde.
