This artwork by Adriaen Lievensz. van der Poel achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2020. In the Old Master Paintings auction, the work A Village On Fire At Night sold for GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,168.06) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Adriaen Lievensz. van der Poel; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Peasants Putting Out A Village Fire At Night sold at auction in October 2011 with the realized price of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,339.91).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Adriaen Lievensz. van der Poel erzielte im September 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Paintings wurde die Arbeit A Village On Fire At Night für GBP 3.780,00 (€ 4.168,06) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Adriaen Lievensz. van der Poel; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Peasants Putting Out A Village Fire At Night im Oktober 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.339,91).
