Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary African Art, which included the work Mother and Child by Adriaan Hendrik Boshoff. The price achieved of GBP 5,100.00 (€ 6,046.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Adriaan Hendrik Boshoff have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March last year the work Cape flower seller was auctioned for GBP 7,395.00 (€ 8,767.60).
