In the British & European Art: European Art auction, the work A young family under trees on a hill sold for GBP 87,500.00 (€ 96,069.18) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adolphe Monticelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Au Bord De La Rivière, Marseilles, which sold at auction in May 2013 for USD 413,000.00 (€ 317,985.83).

In der Auktion British & European Art: European Art wurde die Arbeit A young family under trees on a hill für GBP 87.500,00 (€ 96.069,18) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Adolphe Monticelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Au Bord De La Rivière, Marseilles beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für USD 413.000,00 (€ 317.985,83) versteigert wurde.
