A top price for Adolfo Tommasi - as previously expected
The work Petriolo Presso Firenze by Adolfo Tommasi was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in December 2008. The price achieved of EUR 300,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Petriolo Presso Firenze is the most expensive artwork by Adolfo Tommasi that we have observed at auctions so far.
