A top price for Adolfo Nigro - as previously expected
The work La Red by Adolfo Nigro was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2006. The price achieved of USD 19,200.00 (€ 14,478.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, La Red is the most expensive artwork by Adolfo Nigro that we have observed at auctions so far.
