Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Sans Titre, 2020 by Adolf Tega was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in June 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 3,640.00. Other works by Adolf Tega have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March last year by the work Twins at GBP 5,292.00 (€ 6,274.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Sans Titre, 2020 von Adolf Tega im Juni 2021 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 3.640,00 den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Adolf Tega wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März letzten Jahres die Arbeit Twins mit GBP 5.292,00 (€ 6.274,26).
