A top price for Adolf Schlabitz
In September 2004 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work The Old Huntsman by Adolf Schlabitz. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,912.00. With this result, The Old Huntsman is even the most expensive work of art by Adolf Schlabitz that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im September 2004 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Old Huntsman von Adolf Schlabitz zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.912,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist The Old Huntsman sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Adolf Schlabitz, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
