Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,357.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adolf Fényes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hungarian orpheus Charming The Animals in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,730.21).
