Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings & 19th Century European Art, which included the work What A Time It Truly Was by Adolf Eberle. The price achieved of USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,346.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adolf Eberle have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The New Puppies in October 2005 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 50,020.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings & 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit What A Time It Truly Was von Adolf Eberle zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 6.346,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adolf Eberle auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The New Puppies im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 50.020,84).
