Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le Repos, 2016 by Adjaratou Ouédraogo was sold in the African Contemporary Art, Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Marrakech in December 2021. The price achieved of MAD 20,800.00 (€ 1,966.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as MAD 16,000.00 – 26,000.00. Other works by Adjaratou Ouédraogo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2021 the work La Solidarité, 2018 was auctioned for MAD 26,000.00 (€ 2,458.03).
