In May 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work Still Life With Flowers by Adelheid Dietrich. The »bidding war« ended at USD 91,000.00 (€ 58,483.29), 30% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adelheid Dietrich - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life with Flowers, which sold at auction in May 2007 for USD 252,000.00 (€ 187,318.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life With Flowers von Adelheid Dietrich zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 91.000,00 (€ 58.483,29) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Adelheid Dietrich mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life with Flowers beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für USD 252.000,00 (€ 187.318,81) versteigert wurde.
