Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included the work Finnish i'M Sorry by Adel Abidin. The price achieved of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 30,359.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Adel Abidin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2013 the work I'M Sorry was auctioned for USD 68,750.00 (€ 52,209.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Finnish i'M Sorry von Adel Abidin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 30.359,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Adel Abidin konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2013 die Arbeit I'M Sorry für USD 68.750,00 (€ 52.209,90) versteigert.
