Auction result well in line with expectations

The work A wooded landscape with a coach being ambushed in a clearing by Adam Frans van der Meulen was sold in the Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale auction at Christies in London in July 2012. The price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 28,658.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adam Frans van der Meulen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The meeting between Kings Philip IV and Louis XIV on Pheasants Island in May 2000 with an auction result of USD 226,000.00 (€ 242,281.30).

Die Arbeit A wooded landscape with a coach being ambushed in a clearing von Adam Frans van der Meulen wurde im Juli 2012 in der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 28.658,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden.
