The work Dinner time by Ada Elizabeth Tucker was sold in the Sporting Art and Dogs auction at Christies in London in November 2001. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 329.00 (€ 523.54) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Dinner time is the most expensive artwork by Ada Elizabeth Tucker that we have observed at auctions so far.
