Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Greek Still Life by Achilleas Droungas was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The price achieved of GBP 7,250.00 (€ 8,765.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Achilleas Droungas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greek From My Balcony, which sold at auction in November 2008 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,136.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Greek Still Life von Achilleas Droungas kam im November 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 7.250,00 (€ 8.765,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Achilleas Droungas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Greek From My Balcony beobachtet, die im November 2008 für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.136,13) versteigert wurde.
