Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Greek Still Life In Red by Achilleas Droungas. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,556.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Achilleas Droungas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greek From My Balcony, which sold at auction in November 2008 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,136.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Greek Still Life In Red von Achilleas Droungas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.556,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Achilleas Droungas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Greek From My Balcony beobachtet, die im November 2008 für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.136,13) versteigert wurde.
