In November 2006 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Naples And Castello Dell'Ovo With Mount Vesuvius Beyond by Achille Solari. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,583.24) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00.
