Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Scorcio di cascina con figura by Achille Formis Befani for EUR 2,200.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,400.00 – 2,600.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Achille Formis Befani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le bagnanti in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 42,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Scorcio di cascina con figura von Achille Formis Befani für EUR 2.200,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.400,00 – 2.600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Achille Formis Befani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le bagnanti im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.000,00.
