This artwork by Acharya Vyakul achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in January 2020. In the Outsider Art auction, the work Four States, 1990 sold for USD 2,375.00 (€ 2,140.99) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Acharya Vyakul - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Set Of Thirteen Works, which sold at auction in March 2020 for USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,233.57).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Acharya Vyakul erzielte im Januar 2020 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Outsider Art wurde die Arbeit Four States, 1990 für USD 2.375,00 (€ 2.140,99) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Acharya Vyakul mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Set Of Thirteen Works beobachtet, die im März 2020 für USD 6.875,00 (€ 6.233,57) versteigert wurde.
