Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Abram Anshelovich Manevich could be acquired at Christies in New York in April 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Paintings and Works of Art auction, the work Early Spring. The Breaking of The Ice changed hands for USD 9,600.00 (€ 7,604.56) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Abram Anshelovich Manevich have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Boston Road, Brooklyn in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 66,000.00 (€ 52,281.37).
