Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Un lori tricolore et un autre oiseau sur une branche près d'un littoral by Abraham Meertens was auctioned at Artcurial in September this year. The price achieved of EUR 3,674.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Other works by Abraham Meertens have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2012 the work Two Exotic Birds Perched On A Tree, A Coastal Landscape Behind was auctioned for USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,788.17).
