It achieved a price of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,293.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 53%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham van Diepenbeeck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Die Rettung des Heiligen Paulus nach dem Schiffbruch. in March 2019 with an auction result of CHF 72,500.00 (€ 64,816.08).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abraham van Diepenbeeck erzielen.
