Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Town View With A Bridge by Abraham Furnerius was sold in the Old Master & British Drawings Sale auction at Sothebys in London in July 2012. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,164.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Furnerius achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chaumière À L'Entrée D'Un Village in March 2017 with an auction result of EUR 195,000.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.164,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abraham Furnerius erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chaumière À L'Entrée D'Un Village im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 195.000,00.
