Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master and British Works on Paper Including drawings from the Oppé Collection, which included the work Shipping Off Hellevoetsluis, In South Holland by Abraham de Verwer. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,941.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham de Verwer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View Of Paris From The Pont-Royal With The Grande Galerie Du Louvre, The Pont-Neuf And The Nesle Tower in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 60,000.00.
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View Of Paris From The Pont-Royal With The Grande Galerie Du Louvre, The Pont-Neuf And The Nesle Tower im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 60.000,00.
