Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2014 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art, which included the work A Girl Picking Wild Poppies At Uzerche, France by Abel Boulineau. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,284.72) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Abel Boulineau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A book stall on the Seine, Notre Dame beyond in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,368.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Girl Picking Wild Poppies At Uzerche, France von Abel Boulineau zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.284,72) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abel Boulineau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A book stall on the Seine, Notre Dame beyond im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.368,25).
